Line 5 - Metro de Caracas

Metro de Caracas' Line 5 is projected to serve the public in the South-West of Caracas, its hub is currently being built and it is located in Las Mercedes.

In November 2015 it was open the first 1.5 Km (1 mi) of the route, which goes from Zona Rental hub up to Bello Monte station. It has been projected a total extension of 14.8 km (8.7 mi), from which 7.3 km (4.3 mi) is the first stage and 7.5 km (4.35 mi) the second. First stage starts in Zona Rental, at Plaza Venezuela hub, and continues to Bello Monte, Tamanaco, Bello Campo and Miranda stations. On the second stage, Montecristo, Boleíta, El Marques and Waraira Repano stations will be built. This railway is expected to serve 245,000 passengers per day.

Telematica working for Colas Rail Co. From June until November 2015, completed the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the closed circuit TV (CCTV) System. We also completed the installation, testing and commissioning of the telecommunication systems: public address, radio communication in tunnel and stations, fiber optics network and PABX and emergency telephony.
